The Greening of Detroit
On Saturday, September 29, 2001, several SEA members woke up early to a beautiful day for planting trees. It proved to be a difficult task, but we (along with The Greening of Detroit and apartment residents) successfully planted 17 Green Ash trees along the front of the Helen Odean Butler Apartments in Detroit (Mt. Elliot and Vernon).
